The 2025 Military Pay Chart: Basic Pay, Officer Salaries, and Retirement Benefits
There is expected to be 4.5% boost in compensation for service members across various branches, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Space Force. My article from last week reviewed the pay tables for active duty enlisted servicemembers. This week I will cover the basic pay tables for US military officers and warrant officers.
Basic Pay Tables for US Military Officers
*Basic pay for personnel in pay grades O-6 and below is capped at the Level V of the Executive Schedule rate. The specific figures will be disclosed at a later time

How Executive Schedule Caps Income for High Ranking Officers
The executive pay schedule places limits on the basic pay for high-ranking officers in the US military. For military members in pay grades O-6 and below, their basic pay is capped at the Level V Executive Schedule rate. Meanwhile, officers in grades O-7 through O-10 have their pay capped at the Level II Executive Schedule rate.
